GifForThat ("the app," "the extension") helps you find workplace-appropriate reaction GIFs and generates a short corporate-speak caption to match. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it — on the web or as a Chrome extension.
We don't have user accounts, sign-ups, or logins. The only information involved is the text you type into the search box.
When you type a prompt and search:
That's the entire lifecycle of the request. We don't store your prompts, log them, associate them with you, or use them for anything beyond generating that one response.
This app relies on GIPHY for GIF search results and Anthropic for caption generation. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle the data we send them.
The extension requests the clipboardWrite permission solely so the "Copy" buttons can put a GIF link or caption onto your clipboard. It does not read your clipboard or access it for any other purpose.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
